Apollo Motors – Pesky Heater Hose (PHH) Bypass Kit (80 Series)

The Pesky Heater Hose is one of the most common and frustrating failure points on the Toyota Land Cruiser 80 Series FZJ80. The factory routing is tight, buried, and difficult to service—especially on USDM trucks from 1993-1997 1FZ-FE.

This PHH Bypass Kit replaces the factory configuration with a simpler, direct hose route, eliminating unnecessary connections and making installation significantly easier while reducing potential failure points. Every FZJ80 refresh should have this done.

Each kit includes:

• Gates green coolant hose, chosen for its heat resistance and long-term durability

• Breeze constant-torque hose clamps, which maintain consistent clamping force through heat cycles
